At the beginning of the meeting, the ADB representative in Vietnam expressed gratitude to Petrovietnam for its continued cooperation and support for ADB's activities.

Through this meeting, ADB aims to provide updates on Petrovietnam's development and key activities, as well as information on ADB's support for Petrovietnam's energy transition, strategy, and development roadmap.

Mr. Le Ngoc Son, General Director of Petrovietnam, and Mr. Shantanu Chakraborty, ADB Country Director for Vietnam, exchanged views during the working session.

During the meeting, leaders from Petrovietnam and ADB discussed the possibility of supporting the Group's offshore wind power development, regional cooperation and connectivity, as well as unsecured corporate financing options at competitive prices, and other financing choices.

During the meeting, Petrovietnam General Director Le Ngoc Son stated that the Group is pursuing development policies that leverage its inherent strengths for future growth. Furthermore, Mr. Le Ngoc Son emphasized that Petrovietnam always aims to attract foreign investors and partners to help Vietnam quickly become a leading nation in the energy and oil and gas sectors.

In particular, Petrovietnam General Director Le Ngoc Son shared that, with its current strategy, Petrovietnam has many development opportunities and plans related to energy projects, along with the potential for energy exports such as offshore wind power.

Mr. Shantanu Chakraborty, ADB Country Director for Vietnam, believes that Petrovietnam and ADB will have many new opportunities to explore in the future.
