Summary of the work of mobilizing the construction of the Provincial Gratitude and Social Security Fund in 2024

On the afternoon of October 10, the Provincial "Gratitude and Social Security" Fund Mobilization Committee held a conference to summarize the work of mobilizing the construction of the "Gratitude and Social Security" Fund in Ninh Binh province in 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Fund Mobilization Committee chaired the conference.

Immediately after the Provincial "Gratitude and Social Security" Fund Mobilization Board issued the Fund Building Plan for 2024, members of the Provincial Fund Mobilization Board actively promoted, deployed, directed and urged agencies and units assigned to participate in supporting the Fund; regularly reported and urged the progress of the plan implementation; promptly resolved difficulties and problems during the implementation process.

Departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, public service units of the province, and central agencies located in the province have actively deployed and mobilized cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and exemplary workers to participate in support. The Provincial Business Association mobilized businesses and entrepreneurs to register to participate in supporting the Fund.

Thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, the majority of households actively participated. The summary of the campaign in the whole province reached a rate of 97% of households participating in supporting the Fund. As of October 8, 2024, the total amount of money mobilized to support the Fund at all 3 levels was more than 35.1 billion VND, of which the Provincial Fund received contributions and support from 171 organizations, agencies, units, enterprises, businessmen, and philanthropists with an amount of more than 13.8 billion VND; the District Fund received nearly 4 billion VND.

At the conference, delegates discussed and evaluated the results of mobilizing the construction of the Fund at all levels; pointed out difficulties and obstacles; shared experiences, proposed a number of solutions to improve the effectiveness of mobilizing support for the construction of the Fund in 2024, focusing on the leadership and direction of Party committees, the role and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in mobilizing and building the Fund; propaganda and mobilization work for agencies, organizations, individuals, philanthropists and people of all walks of life, and businesses to participate in contributing and supporting the construction of the Fund...

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Head of the Fund Mobilization Committee acknowledged and sincerely thanked the support of Xuan Thanh Economic Group and the personal feelings of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh for the work of gratitude, repayment and social security of the province.

He also pointed out the results of the campaign and the number of businesses participating in supporting the construction of the Fund in 2024 is not high; the causes and factors affecting the province's participation in supporting the Fund such as many businesses facing difficulties in production, business, and product consumption; the impact of storm No. 3 causing severe damage to the northern provinces and some districts in the province...

To continue to improve the effectiveness of the work of mobilizing support for the Fund, comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha suggested that it is necessary to promote and innovate propaganda methods, continue to arouse and promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", mutual love and affection among organizations, individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and all classes of people. Timely honor and commend businesses, individuals, agencies and units that do a good job of mobilizing support for the Fund on mass media.

Organize well the management and use of the Fund to support the right subjects and for the right purposes; develop a specific plan to implement the construction of solidarity houses for households with housing difficulties. Request the District Fund Mobilization Committee to regularly inspect and urge the Fund Management Committee at the same level to use the Fund for the right purposes, publicly, transparently, and in accordance with the law.
