Toyota Vietnam Motor Company continues to collaborate with the Ministry of Education and Training, and with the support of the National Traffic Safety Committee, to implement the "Toyota Together with You to Learn Traffic Safety" program for primary school students in the 2024-2025 school year. The aim is to equip students with knowledge and skills in traffic safety, thereby enhancing their self-awareness and strict adherence to regulations when participating in traffic.

This year, the national program "Toyota Together with You to Learn Traffic Safety" continues to implement two main activities: a workshop on "Innovating methods of traffic safety education in primary schools" for administrators and teachers, and a national-level exchange program to learn about safe traffic participation skills for students.

This year's program content also adheres to the regulations in Article 4 of Decree 151/2024/ND-CP, regarding the inclusion of legal education on road traffic safety in educational institutions to help students better understand the regulations and the importance of complying with traffic safety rules.

This further confirms the correct direction of the "Toyota Together with You to Learn Traffic Safety" program, which aims to contribute to educating and raising traffic awareness among the younger generation, as well as building a safer and more civilized society.

After 20 years of implementation, the "Toyota Together with You to Learn Traffic Safety" program has recorded positive and outstanding results in applying the "learning through play, playing through learning" educational method along with a natural, gentle approach, yielding high effectiveness.

The program not only helps raise students' awareness of traffic safety, but also encourages them to practice and apply their knowledge in their daily lives.

At the provincial level, the program will organize exchanges on innovative methods of traffic safety education starting in December 2024 in eight provinces and cities, including Lam Dong, Tuyen Quang, Phu Yen , Ha Nam, Hoa Binh, Cao Bang, Vung Tau, and Can Tho.

In various localities, the program for students focuses on three areas: learning about traffic safety; drawing pictures on the theme of traffic safety; and showcasing talents.

For teachers, the program consists of two parts: practicing one activity on traffic safety education, up to a maximum of 20 minutes, in the spirit of innovative teaching methods and effective use of teaching aids and equipment; and participating in a workshop on "Innovating traffic safety education methods in primary schools".

Following the provincial-level program, 8 teams that have performed well in traffic safety education will represent 8 provinces and cities in the national-level program to be held in March 2025.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in many beneficial activities aimed at raising awareness and improving skills for safe traffic participation.
