Le Duan Political School in Quang Tri province strives to reach level 2 standards before 2030

At the ceremony, representatives of the Le Duan Political School of Quang Tri province were honored to receive the Certificate of recognition of meeting the standard level 1. In the past time, the school has focused on strictly implementing Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on building a standard political school. Specifically, based on the assigned functions and tasks, in the process of building a standard political school of level 1, the school has divided into 2 main groups of tasks, focusing on the group of tasks undertaken by the school, implementing well 29 criteria to improve the quality of staff and lecturers to ensure both meeting the standards and raising the level of the remaining criteria. The school has organized many effective application models such as: "5 good" model - "Good teaching, good scientific research, good management, good service and good learning"; training and fostering model for local officials of the Lao People's Democratic Republic; "3 activities, 1 goal" model in scientific research; The model of temporary field trips at the grassroots level aims to implement the policy of developing human resources and improving the quality of the province's staff work... The school also focuses on implementing a group of advisory and coordination tasks to create a legal corridor, regulations, and rules to meet standards and create a premise for activities in the following years.

Principal of Le Duan Political School of Quang Tri province Le Cong Toan said that after the merger, the school inherited and developed the achievements of the unit and the old Quang Binh Provincial Political School to continue to unite, be determined, and unanimous, urgently review and adjust solutions suitable to the new situation, ensure the common goal, and complete the criteria for building a political school that meets level 1 standards. Up to now, the school has comprehensively standardized 6/6 groups of criteria with 55/55 criteria completed, of which 13/55 criteria exceeded the standards. Promoting the tradition of the unit, in the coming time, the staff and lecturers of Le Duan Political School of Quang Tri province will continue to unite, innovate, be creative and responsible, determined to affirm its position as a center for training and fostering cadres; scientific research, summarizing the province's practices...

Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the school as well as the close direction of Quang Tri province. The school turned difficulties into advantages, challenges into opportunities, and made continuous efforts so that right after the merger, from two schools that had not met the standards, today Le Duan Political School of Quang Tri province made its mark as the first unit in the merger to receive the Certificate of Standard Recognition. The assessment of Le Duan Political School of Quang Tri province as well as schools that have met level 1 standards is carried out according to an objective and impartial appraisal process, through many strict and methodical rounds, in accordance with the motto "substantial, objective, no formalities, no criteria debt".

Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized that in the coming time, the school needs to urgently develop a plan for level 2 standards, striving to achieve level 2 standards before 2030. The school needs to clearly define the groups of criteria proposed to the province, the academy as well as internal criteria. During the implementation process, the school must be specific, scientific, clear about the content, methods, and resources for implementation, level 2 standards towards building a truly exemplary political school. This is the school's top central task in the orientation of advising on training, fostering, scientific research, and summarizing practices.

The school needs to continue to innovate, diversify training types, improve the quality of training and fostering; strictly implement management, training and fostering regulations, strengthen discipline and order in learning and teaching; strongly apply science and technology, digital transformation... In addition, the school should increase the effectiveness of scientific research activities, summarize practices, provide practical policy advice and contribute to the process of building and implementing policies of the province...
