Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking and University of Economics and Law announced the minimum scores for many admission methods.

Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City

In the admission method using high school graduation exam scores , the school announced the minimum score of 18 points, which is also the minimum score for 2024.

This score includes the priority admission score according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, applicable to all majors/programs using the method of considering high school graduation exam results in 2025.

For English language majors (special programs and standard programs), the English subject is multiplied by 2 and converted to a 30-point scale. In addition, candidates must not have any subject in the admission combination with a score of 1.0 or lower.

In the comprehensive admission method , the floor score is 75/150 points:

- For candidates graduating in 2024, the average score of semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2, grade 12 must be from 6.5 or higher;

- For candidates graduating in 2025, the study results of semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12 must be good or higher.

Admission score is the converted score according to the subject combination of 3 semesters plus the converted score according to other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority score (if any). Priority score for subjects and regions is converted according to a 150-point scale.

In the 2025 V-SAT exam score review method , the floor score is from 225/450 points, including the priority admission score according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the component scores of the subjects in the combination >= 15 points, applied to all majors/programs using the VSAT computer-based university entrance exam results review method in 2025 (for English language majors, English subject multiplied by 2 converts to a 450 scale).

As for the international bachelor's program with a partner-granted degree, the admission method is: reviewing transcripts and interviews, not applying the method of considering high school graduation exam results in 2025.

University of Economics and Law (VNU-HCM City)

The University of Economics and Law's regular university admissions board announced the admission scores for all regular university majors/majors/programs of the school in 2025 for candidates in region 3. This score does not include bonus points or priority points.

Compared to 2024, the minimum score for admission based on high school graduation exam results will decrease from 21 points to 19 points.

For majors/specializations in the legal field, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. High school graduate or equivalent;

2. For candidates applying for admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam: the score of math and literature or one of these two subjects in the admission combination must be 6.0 points or higher;

3. For candidates applying for admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University Entrance Exam: the total score must be 720 points or higher, and the average score of the 3-year high school transcript in math must be 6.0 points or higher.

The school representative said the tuition fee for the 2025 enrollment course with the training program in Vietnamese is 31.5 million VND, and the training program in English is 65 million VND.
