England had a historic match under coach Tuchel

Noni Madueke scored his first goal for England.

Thomas Tuchel's team traveled to Belgrade with the fervent belief of a night of a lifetime, and they delivered exactly that. With this historic victory, England extended their winning streak to eight consecutive matches in official competitions and became the first team in history to score five goals against Serbia in Belgrade.

This was also England's biggest win since coach Tuchel took over earlier this year. Previously, the "Three Lions" beat Andorra 2-0, lost to Senegal 1-3, won against Andorra 1-0, Latvia 3-0 and Albania 2-0.

With only 5 points separating them from qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, the Three Lions are demonstrating both resilience and ambition.

The night in Belgrade not only helped coach Tuchel relieve the pressure from recent criticism, but also gave him a "pleasant headache," as many new faces proved their worth, bringing depth and healthy competition to the squad that English fans have long awaited.
