The Phong Nha Wild Trail 2026 race is organized by Phong Nha Wild Joint Stock Company, under the direction of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, and international professional partners.

The race will take place from May 28-31, 2026 in Phong Nha commune, Quang Tri province. A highlight of this year's race is that, for the first time in Vietnam, athletes will be permitted to run deep into the core of the primeval forest – a strictly protected area with a diverse and unique ecosystem.
Five distances were included in the competition: 5 km, 10 km, 20 km, 50 km, and 70 km. Of these, the 50 km and 70 km distances offered a journey to explore million-year-old forests, providing a rare experience for running enthusiasts and those who enjoy conquering nature.

With the message "Run the Natural's Heritage," the race aims for three core values: ecosystem conservation, local economic development, and promoting a green lifestyle.
The Phong Nha Wild Trail 2026 is expected to become a highlight in promoting ecotourism, showcasing the world heritage landscape, and raising community awareness in nature conservation.
At the press conference, the Organizing Committee and the Association of Long Distance Running in Asia and Oceania (AOUA) signed a cooperation agreement, making Phong Nha Wild Trail the first AOUA member in Vietnam.

The Phong Nha Wild Trail 2026 aims to provide a complete sports and tourism journey, where every step contributes to preserving and spreading the value of natural heritage.
