Foreign exchange rates on July 24, 2025: USD and CNY fluctuate slightly

DNVN - On the morning of July 24th, the exchange rates between the Vietnamese Dong (VND) and the US Dollar (USD) and the Chinese Yuan (CNY) at banks showed insignificant fluctuations.

The central exchange rate announced by the State Bank of Vietnam decreased by 11 VND compared to July 23, down to 25,166 VND/USD; within the trading range of ±5%, today's ceiling is determined to be 26,424 VND/USD, and the floor is 23,908 VND/USD; the reference exchange rate at the Exchange is currently at 23,969 - 26,385 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At 8:20 a.m. in the commercial banking system, Vietcombank maintained the USD exchange rate at 25,960 - 26,320 VND/USD (buy - sell), unchanged from yesterday morning; while BIDV adjusted the exchange rate up slightly by 10 VND in both directions, to 25,970 - 26,330 VND/USD.

The CNY exchange rate at Vietcombank this morning increased by 8 VND in both buying and selling, to 3,594 - 3,709 VND/CNY compared to the session on July 23. BIDV also raised the CNY exchange rate by 9 VND, currently at 3,604 - 3,701 VND/CNY (buying - selling).
