As of the morning of August 29th, the companies were operating 60 drainage pumping stations with 243 pumps running continuously. Specifically, Song Chu One-Member Limited Liability Company operated 37 stations with 123 pumps; Bac Song Irrigation One-Member Limited Liability Company operated 16 stations with 77 pumps; and Nam Song Ma Irrigation One-Member Limited Liability Company operated 7 stations with 43 pumps.
In addition, the units also operate drainage gates leading to river mouths to drain water from flooded agricultural areas and residential zones.
For the communes of the former Thach Thanh district that are severely flooded, Song Chu One-Member Limited Liability Company is operating 6 pumping stations continuously 24/7 to drain the water. In addition, 100% of the operating staff have been mobilized, ready with contingency plans in case the Buoi River water level rises.
