Forbes Vietnam magazine has just announced the list of 50 best listed companies in Vietnam with the list featuring leading enterprises in many fields, representing typical business lines and also names that have been listed on the stock exchange for many years.
Based on the audited business results report for 2023, representing the aviation industry, Vietjet is the 5th ranked enterprise in terms of revenue with 58.3 trillion VND, an increase of 45% over the same period in 2022.
In 2023, Vietjet contributed about VND5,200 billion in direct and indirect taxes and fees to the budget. Vietjet has strongly recovered after the pandemic, continuing to maintain and develop its domestic flight network and focusing resources on expanding international flights. Vietjet safely operated 133,000 flights, transporting 25.3 million passengers, including more than 7.6 million international passengers last year, up 183% compared to 2022. The airline has developed a safe, modern, environmentally friendly fleet, persistently pursuing sustainable development goals (ESG), saving fuel and reducing emissions.
Vietjet leads in credit rating according to the direction of the Ministry of Finance . The company has a credit rating of VnBBB-, among the highest among Vietnamese enterprises.
The Top 50 best listed companies in 2024 is the result of a series of awards and titles that the airline has been honored with in the past, such as the Top 50 best airlines in the world in terms of operational and financial health index voted by the prestigious AirFinance Journal magazine, Top 50 most valuable branded enterprises in Vietnam, Top 50 most effective business companies in Vietnam, Top 10 enterprises with the best management capacity on the Vietnamese stock exchange, Top 20 stocks of listed companies with the best sustainable development score voted by HOSE...
