At the award ceremony, the Women's Union of the commune extended greetings, offered encouragement, and presented two scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, along with school supplies, to two orphaned students in Xeo Mam hamlet. Previously, the Union had also awarded three scholarships to orphaned children due to the Covid-19 pandemic .
Ms. Nguyen Thi Diem Kieu, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Dat Mui Commune, said: The Union always pays attention to and reviews the list of students with particularly difficult circumstances, poor and near-poor students to promptly support them with school bags, books, bicycles, health insurance, etc. Through this, they encourage the children to continue attending school, with the determination to "not let students drop out of school midway." The Union also maintains the "Godmother" program, accompanying orphaned children to school on the occasion of the opening of the school year, giving them more motivation to study.
Joining hands in the "Supporting Students to School" movement, in the 2025-2026 school year, Dat Mui Border Guard Station presented many gifts to disadvantaged students and orphans, helping them to feel more confident entering the new school year.
The combined efforts of all levels of government, organizations, and the community have not only provided material support but also offered immense moral encouragement, instilling confidence and determination in the children to overcome difficulties, excel in their studies, and become useful citizens for society.
