During the past term, emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Front Committee and its member organizations have made new developments, focusing on residential areas with many creative approaches. Many models have been built effectively, mobilizing the potential, creativity, and spirit of voluntary participation of all classes of people.
Over the past 5 years, the Ward Fatherland Front and the Neighborhood Front Working Committee have registered to manage 20 civilized, green - clean - beautiful roads and alleys.
One of the effective models in building civilized urban areas that the Ward Fatherland Front has implemented is the model "Route of solidarity" which has been implemented since 2023.
The Congress also set out six key tasks for the new term. It focuses on propaganda, mobilization, gathering people from all walks of life, strengthening social consensus, and promoting the strength of national solidarity. Encouraging people from all walks of life to actively compete, innovate, create, and participate in socio- economic development, building and defending the Fatherland. Promoting the people's role as masters and self-management, and building a united, prosperous, and happy residential area.
The Congress consulted the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu An Ward for the 2025-2030 term with 55 members. Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha holds the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu An Ward.
Speaking at the congress, Comrade Bui Thanh Nhan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, suggested that cadres working for the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations need to cultivate and improve technology, learn good practices from other localities. To improve work efficiency, it is necessary to cultivate technological skills, focus on digital application and digital transformation in a synchronous manner in operations, including both innovating content and methods of operation and applying digital technology to work.
This requires a change in thinking, the improvement of knowledge and skills to adapt to new requirements and tasks. Each member organization must promote initiative and coordinate smoothly according to common regulations. All activities must be in-depth and effective, bringing satisfaction to the people, members and union members.
Phu An Ward is nearly 37 km2 wide and has a population of more than 53,900. The ward was established on the basis of merging the entire area and population of Phu An commune, Tan An ward and some neighborhoods of Hiep An ward.
