Stirring clip of 7th grade student being beaten up by classmates

(NLDO)- An 8th grade male student beat a 7th grade student because the student went swimming with an 8th grade female student from the same school.


On the afternoon of March 14, Mr. Truong Thuan Hung, Principal of Nghia Trung Secondary School (Tu Nghia District, Quang Ngai Province), said that regarding the clip of students fighting in the school posted on social networks causing a stir in local public opinion, the school is holding a meeting to resolve the incident.

According to verification by Nghia Trung Secondary School, the incident occurred the same morning during recess, when a 7th grade student was beaten by two 8th grade students from the same school. The incident was filmed by another student using his phone and then posted on social media.

According to Mr. Hung, verification showed that the conflict occurred because the 7th grade student went swimming in the pool with a female 8th grader, while the 8th grader was paying attention to this female. Afterwards, 2 male 8th graders beat the 7th grader mentioned above.

"Immediately after receiving the information, the school invited students, parents, local authorities and police to a meeting to discuss and resolve the incident. Currently, the 7th grade student who was beaten has no serious health problems," said Mr. Hung.
