Presiding over the regular government meeting on the morning of August 7th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also requested that localities "avoid regrettable mistakes" when organizing events to celebrate National Day. The organization of music nights and fireworks displays in 34 provinces and cities on National Day aims to create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, providing motivation and inspiration, and contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.
During the National Day celebrations, approximately 200 major construction projects were started or inaugurated.

In August 1945, the general uprising to seize power throughout the country was successful in 15 days, and Vietnam gained independence after nearly 100 years of colonial and Japanese fascist rule.
On September 2nd, at Ba Dinh Square, before a rally of hundreds of thousands of people, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence , proclaiming to the entire people and the world that the independent and free Democratic Republic of Vietnam had been born.
In preparation for the parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the forces are actively practicing. Six forces are expected to participate: the traditional torchbearer and ceremonial ceremonial guard; ceremonial artillery; air force for welcoming flights; marching troops; background forces; and finally, forces forming shapes and letters.
The parade and marching contingents included 4 ceremonial blocks; 43 blocks representing the armed forces (26 military blocks, 17 police blocks), including blocks of foreign troops; military artillery and specialized police vehicles; a naval parade; 12 blocks of mass parades; and one block representing a cultural and sports village.
The supporting forces included the honor guard, 11 military contingents, and 7 police contingents.
