
This is an international arts platform for young talents, organized by the Vecchi-Tonelli Conservatory – one of the prestigious conservatories under the Italian Government and Ministry of Culture – on a global scale.
This year, the competition, held at the Vietnam National Academy of Music ( Hanoi ), attracted over 800 contestants from countries including Vietnam, Austria, France, South Korea, Malaysia, and Brunei.

Contestants compete in various categories such as: piano solo, ensemble, string instruments, guitar, and vocals. In addition, piano contestants have the opportunity to perform with professional orchestras.



Outperforming hundreds of talented piano contestants from various countries, Lao Cai province had 5 students win awards. Specifically: Duong Chau Thien Y, a 7th-grade student from Ngo Van So Secondary School (Lao Cai ward), excellently won a Silver Medal in the piano ensemble with orchestra category; Nguyen Nhat Minh, from the Canadian International School - Lao Cai; Nguyen Hoang Lam, a 4th-grade student from Bac Cuong No. 1 Primary School (Cam Duong ward); and Tran Khiet An, a 1st-grade student from Le Van Tam Primary School (Lao Cai ward), won Bronze Medals; and Nguyen Khanh An, a 2nd-grade student from the Canadian International School - Lao Cai (Cam Duong ward), received the Promising Talent award in the piano ensemble with orchestra category.
The competition is an opportunity for contestants to shine, affirm their talent, and demonstrate their passion and love for music.
