Russian UAVs attack southern Ukraine . According to Ukrainian officials, air defense systems in the southern Odessa region were activated due to an attack by Russian Shahed UAVs on the night of March 24 to the early morning of March 25. The UAVs are believed to have been launched from the Black Sea region.
“ Fighting is continuing in Odessa. This is a reminder that the situation can be dangerous. Intercepting shots from active air defense forces will save your lives ,” the Ukrainian authorities said.
Local officials did not say whether there were any casualties or material damage in the incident. However, Ukrainian media reported that some areas of Odessa were without electricity and water.

52 clashes on the front . The General Staff of the Ukrainian army reported that there were a total of 52 clashes on all fronts, including the directions of Bakhmut, Lyman, Avdiivka (Donetsk) and Novopavlivka (Zaporizhia). During this, the Russian army, with the support of the air force, attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses 17 times.
According to Ukraine, the Ukrainian air force attacked eight areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
“ Over the past day, Russia has carried out 32 missile strikes, 37 air strikes and 48 launches of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) on the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces and populated areas ,” the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced.

Ukraine gas storage facility hit by missile . An underground gas storage site in Ukraine was hit on March 24, in the latest wave of Russian missile attacks on energy facilities, but gas supplies to consumers were not affected.
Oleksiy Chernyshov, director general of Ukraine’s state energy company Naftogaz, said the equipment was damaged in the latest attack and repairs were underway. “The situation will not seriously affect the operation of the facility because the gas is stored deep underground ,” Chernyshov said.
Ukraine's Energy Ministry and its distributors said on Tuesday that the country had increased electricity imports and halted exports on March 24 following a series of recent Russian attacks, in which top energy producer DTEK reduced its capacity by 50 percent.
Ukraine attacks Russian warships in the Black Sea . The Ukrainian military claims to have hit two large landing ships and damaged several important infrastructure facilities belonging to Russia's Black Sea Fleet in attacks on Sevastopol, Crimea.
“ Ukrainian defense forces successfully attacked the large landing ships Azov and Yamal, a communications center and a number of infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the Crimean peninsula ,” the Ukrainian military announced.
The Ukrainian military statement did not say how they had attacked Russian targets. However, Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Moscow-appointed governor of Sevastopol, reported a major airstrike by Kiev forces on the area from the night into the early morning of March 23.
According to Mr. Razvozhayev, local air defense forces shot down more than 10 missiles in the Crimean port of Sevastopol, but transport infrastructure in the area was partially damaged in the incident.
Poland accuses Russia of violating its airspace . The Russian military reportedly carried out an airstrike targeting the capital Kiev and the western Ukrainian province of Lviv near Poland on March 24, forcing Warsaw to deploy fighter jets to ensure airspace safety.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said there were multiple explosions in the Ukrainian capital after air defense systems were activated to intercept a Russian missile attack on the morning of March 24.
Kiev military chief Serhiy Popko said that Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed about a dozen missiles launched by Russia over Kyiv and its surroundings. In total, Russia launched 57 missiles and drones during the attack.
Ukraine discovered many foreign components in Russian missiles and UAVs . Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kiev discovered at least 7,500 foreign components in the missiles and UAVs that Russia used in the unprecedented large-scale attack on March 22.
“ Each Russian Iskander, Kinzhal and other missiles, Shahed UAVs contain dozens of components imported from abroad ,” President Zelensky said.
According to Mr. Zelensky, the Russian missiles used in the March 22 raid contained at least 3,000 components. If the UAVs are included, the number of foreign components used is at least 7,500.
