In 9 months, Southern lottery earned more than 15,000 billion VND

According to the report of the Southern Lottery Council at the 139th conference on October 24, the lottery business of the Southern region in the first 9 months of 2025 continued to be stable and maintained the growth rate.

Traditional lottery issuance revenue was VND117,370 billion, up 11.47% over the same period and reaching 75.39% of the 2025 plan.

In the first 9 months of 2025, traditional lottery revenue in the Southern region reached 115,727 billion VND, an increase of more than 11% and reaching nearly 77% of the 2025 plan. The average lottery ticket consumption rate in the region is nearly 99%.

Impressive revenue brought pre-tax profit of traditional lottery to VND15,125 billion, up more than 12% and reaching nearly 85% of the 2025 plan.

Lottery companies in the Southern region have paid VND39,936 billion to the budget, up nearly 13% over the same period and reaching more than 84% of the 2025 plan.

A leader of a lottery company in the West said the conference also discussed the lottery drawing schedule for the Southern region from January 1, 2026, for which the Ministry of Finance is seeking opinions from lottery companies.

Accordingly, the traditional lottery drawing plan, specifically the drawing on Monday includes: Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Thap - Ca Mau; Tuesday: Ho Chi Minh City - Ca Mau - Vinh Long; Wednesday: Dong Nai - Can Tho - Vinh Long - Lam Dong; Thursday: An Giang - Tay Ninh - Lam Dong; Friday: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho; Saturday: Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai - Tay Ninh - Can Tho; Sunday: Lam Dong - An Giang - Dong Thap.
