In 9 months, Southern lottery earned more than 15,000 billion VND

Traditional lottery revenue in the Southern region in the first 9 months reached more than 115,727 billion VND, while profit reached 15,125 billion VND, an increase of more than 12% over the same period.

According to the report of the Southern Regional Lottery Council at its 139th conference on October 24th, lottery business in the Southern region continued to be stable and maintained its growth rate during the first nine months of 2025.

Traditional lottery sales reached VND 117,370 billion, an increase of 11.47% compared to the same period last year and achieving 75.39% of the 2025 plan.

In the first nine months of 2025, traditional lottery revenue in the Southern region reached 115,727 billion VND, an increase of over 11% and nearly 77% of the 2025 plan. The average lottery ticket sales rate in the region was nearly 99%.

Impressive revenue resulted in pre-tax profits for traditional lottery reaching VND 15,125 billion, an increase of over 12% and nearly 85% of the 2025 plan.

Lottery companies in the southern region have contributed 39,936 billion VND to the state budget, an increase of nearly 13% compared to the same period last year and reaching over 84% of the 2025 plan.

A leader of a lottery company in the Western region said the conference also discussed the schedule for the Southern region's lottery draw from January 1, 2026, which the Ministry of Finance is currently consulting with lottery companies on.

Accordingly, the lottery draw schedule for the traditional lottery is as follows: Monday: Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Thap - Ca Mau; Tuesday: Ho Chi Minh City - Ca Mau - Vinh Long; Wednesday: Dong Nai - Can Tho - Vinh Long - Lam Dong; Thursday: An Giang - Tay Ninh - Lam Dong; Friday: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho; Saturday: Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai - Tay Ninh - Can Tho; Sunday: Lam Dong - An Giang - Dong Thap.
