Accordingly, the Ca Mau Petroleum Power Company donated 3,000 notebooks, worth 24 million VND, to schools in the ward.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Dang Khoa received a symbolic plaque representing 3,000 notebooks.

Mr. Doan Cong Duc, Director of Ca Mau Petroleum Power Company, affirmed that business activities are always linked to social welfare and support for education in the locality.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Doan Cong Duc, Director of Ca Mau Petroleum Power Company, said: throughout more than 18 years of construction and development, in addition to the task of production, business and operation of power plants, the company has always paid attention to and coordinated with local authorities, departments and organizations in social welfare activities, contributing to the local education sector. All the donated notebooks will be sent to schools to support students at the beginning of the new school year .

The notebooks were symbolically given to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

An Xuyen ward currently has 20 schools with 309 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. On the occasion of the new school year 2025-2026, the Ward's Fatherland Front and other organizations have mobilized gifts and scholarships totaling over 112 million VND.

3,000 notebooks and many other gifts were donated to students at the beginning of the new school year by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Xuyen ward.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Dang Khoa, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and Secretary of the Ward Youth Union, said: "Each 'Supporting Students to School' activity aims to promptly encourage and provide support to students from poor and near-poor households and their families, ensuring that no student has to drop out of school due to economic difficulties."
