An Xuyen mobilized more than 112 million VND to support students for the new school year

On the afternoon of September 3, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Xuyen Ward coordinated with Ca Mau Oil and Gas Power Company to organize the handover of notebooks to students in difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, Ca Mau Oil and Gas Power Company has supported 3,000 notebooks, worth 24 million VND, to send to schools in the ward.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Dang Khoa received a symbolic plaque of 3,000 notebooks.

Mr. Doan Cong Duc, Director of Ca Mau Oil and Gas Power Company, affirmed that business activities are always associated with social security work and supporting local education .

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Doan Cong Duc, Director of Ca Mau Oil and Gas Power Company said: During more than 18 years of construction and development, in addition to the tasks of production, business and operation of power plants, the company has always paid attention to and coordinated with local levels, departments and organizations in social security activities, contributing to the local education sector. All the support books will be sent to schools, supporting students at the beginning of the new school year .

The scholarships are awarded symbolically to students in difficult circumstances.

An Xuyen ward currently has 20 schools, with 309 students in difficult circumstances. On the occasion of the new school year 2025-2026, the Front and the ward's organizations mobilized gifts and scholarships worth more than 112 million VND.

3,000 notebooks and many gifts were mobilized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Xuyen ward to give to students at the beginning of the new school year.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Dang Khoa, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union, said: Each activity of supporting students to go to school is aimed at promptly encouraging and giving gifts to poor and near-poor students and their families, so that no student has to drop out of school due to economic difficulties.
