Ba Ria - Vung Tau: Installing smart cameras helps manage traffic and security better

On the afternoon of September 26, the working delegation of the Department of Digital Transformation (Ministry of Information and Communications) had a working session with the Department of Information and Communications of Ba Ria - Vung Tau about the province's Smart Operation Center.

Smart operations center integrates a lot of important data.

At the meeting, Mr. Do Huu Hien, Director of the Department of Information and Communications, said that the Smart Operation Center of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has been operating effectively recently.

Through that, it helps provincial leaders and units receive digital data on infrastructure, technology, traffic, urban order, land management, environmental sanitation, health, education , tourism, information, feedback and recommendations from people.

Currently, the system has 4 AI traffic cameras at the intersections of Nguyen Tat Thanh - Bach Dang and Cach Mang Thang Tam - Pham Hung (Ba Ria).

There are also 6 AI security cameras in the administrative center and some other important locations. In addition, the cameras that the Provincial Police shared data with the IOC are 29, located on national highways and key points in Ba Ria.

Up to now, 27 units and 10 fields have deployed connection, synchronization and data integration to the Provincial Smart Operations Center with a total of 1,348 indicators and parameters.

The Department's leaders introduced the Smart Operations Center of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province to the working delegation.

In particular, the virtual assistant of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Smart Operations Center has built 9 fields. Including: Economy - Society; public administration; hotline; feedback and recommendations; health; education; social network monitoring; land; tourism with more than 20,000 questions.
