In accordance with the cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and the government of Xaysomboun province, from June 18, 2025, Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1 will receive training and technology transfer for 5 medical staff from Xaysomboun province, including 2 surgeons, 2 nurses and 1 medical assistant.

For nearly three months, medical staff in Xaysomboun province received direct guidance and technical training from doctors and staff in the General Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Emergency, and Surgery - Anesthesia and Resuscitation departments through a hands-on approach.
This includes focusing on topics such as: how to enter electronic medical records; patient care and monitoring before and after surgery; using cameras in laparoscopic surgery; methods of cleaning and suturing emergency wounds; collecting blood and specimens in emergency situations; spinal anesthesia methods; managing and screening for surgical wound infections, etc.

During the training and technology transfer process, medical staff in Xaysomboun province practiced and successfully performed several laparoscopic surgeries for acute appendicitis, colostomy, colostomy, bone fixation surgery, and assisted in some surgical cases…

He emphasized that despite the short training period, with effort and determination, the trainees had absorbed a large amount of knowledge and successfully completed the training and knowledge transfer content.
The comrade expressed his hope that with the knowledge acquired, upon returning to their units, the medical staff of Xay Som Bun province would effectively practice and apply the expertise they had been trained in, contributing to improving the quality of examination, treatment, and healthcare for the people of Xay Som Bun province. During the practical application process, the trainees regularly contacted and exchanged information with medical staff in Bac Ninh province to continue receiving professional guidance and support.

He also affirmed that they will absorb and apply the knowledge and experience gained to practice, meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment for the local people.
At the meeting, the Department of Health awarded certificates and commendations to 5 medical staff members from Xaysomboun province who completed the training course.
