Bamboo Airways has a new boss, former General Director of Jetstar Pacific

Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hoang Hai has a master's degree in business administration, graduated from Columbia Southern University (USA). Before joining Bamboo Airways, Mr. Hai had 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, holding many senior leadership positions at Vietnam Airlines and some member companies such as Vietnam Airlines Aircraft Engineering Company Limited.

Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hoang Hai was appointed Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways from November 1.

Notably, Mr. Hai was the General Director of Jetstar Pacific Airlines before resigning at his personal request in 2020. Before Mr. Hai, Mr. Luong Hoai Nam, who was recently appointed General Director of Bamboo Airways, also held the position of General Director of Jetstar Pacific Airlines.

According to Bamboo Airways, the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hoang Hai as Deputy General Director in charge of the Bamboo Airways restructuring program is an important step in the restructuring process of the management and operation apparatus, part of the comprehensive restructuring process that the airline is continuing to promote.

Mr. Luong Hoai Nam, General Director of Bamboo Airways, expressed his belief that the new deputy general director will be a key factor in accelerating the completion of Bamboo Airways' restructuring project in the near future.

Mr. Hai is expected to promote his existing strengths, capabilities, and experience to focus on reorganizing and arranging the airline's apparatus in the shortest time, and coordinate the overall restructuring process in general, helping the entire system operate smoothly and rhythmically.

Recently, Bamboo Airways has just announced the temporary suspension of international flights between Vietnam and the UK, South Korea, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Taipei (Taiwan, China).
