Handing over "House of Gratitude" in Doan Hung

On November 17th, the Red Cross Society of Tieu Son commune, Doan Hung district, in coordination with benefactors, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a "House of Compassion" to the family of Mr. Cao Hai Tuyen in Zone 5, Tieu Son commune.

Representatives of benefactors presented financial support for the construction of a "House of Compassion" to the family of Mr. Cao Hai Tuyen.

Mr. Tuyen's family is classified as a poor household with particularly difficult circumstances. Mr. Tuyen suffers from mental instability, his wife left him, and he and his young child are living in a dilapidated, severely degraded wooden house that is unsafe.

After two months of construction, the sturdy, single-story house built as a charitable project has been completed and put into use. With an area of ​​86 square meters and a total construction cost exceeding 100 million VND, the house was completed. Of this amount, the Red Cross Society of Tieu Son commune raised over 10 million VND through fundraising; the Fatherland Front Committee of Tieu Son commune contributed 2 million VND; the Golden Heart Club of Phu Tho donated nearly 65 million VND; the Doan Hung Loving Kindness Volunteer Club donated 7.9 million VND; the Ha Giang Volunteer Group donated over 7 million VND... and the remainder came from relatives, neighbors, and friends who provided materials and labor.

This is a meaningful and practical act demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and solidarity for the poor, thereby helping poor households and those in difficult circumstances to have more motivation to improve their lives and achieve stability.
