The Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 implements its tasks.

On the morning of May 12th, the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 held a meeting to discuss the implementation of tasks. Mr. Tran Song Tung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Organizing Committee, chaired the meeting. Also in attendance were members of the Organizing Committee, representatives from districts and cities, and representatives from several tourist areas and attractions in the province.

At the conference, delegates heard a report from the leaders of the Department of Tourism on the progress of the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023. Accordingly, this year's Tourism Week will officially take place over 8 days from May 27th to June 4th with many attractive activities such as: organizing a pedestrian street; displaying traditional handicrafts and OCOP products of the province; a Tam Coc Golden Season photography tour; an art photography exhibition and many other unique cultural and artistic exchange programs.

This year, the opening ceremony will once again be held on a real-life stage, set up in a rice field in the Hang 2 area (Tam Coc Tourist Area). In particular, the "Ly Ngu Vong Nguyet" (carp gazing at the moon) rice field is a new and unique tourist attraction, promising to offer visitors exciting experiences at this event.

To ensure the success of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan well in advance, outlining specific requirements and tasks for each unit. Based on the assigned tasks, relevant departments, agencies, and localities have been actively preparing all necessary conditions with a proactive and positive spirit.

This included stepping up information dissemination and promotion of the event, while actively improving conditions to ensure safety, hygiene, security, and land clearance. In particular, relevant units and agencies closely coordinated in monitoring and caring for the rice in the Tam Coc rice paddy area to ensure the rice bloomed and ripened evenly, in preparation for the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023.

Commending the active participation of various sectors, units, and localities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung requested that all units continue to promote a spirit of determination and creativity, and perform their assigned tasks even better.

The comrade instructed the Department of Tourism to expedite the completion of the opening ceremony script, ensuring it is solemn, thoughtful, safe, attractive, and showcases the province's potential and strengths, as well as the cultural, historical, and traditional values of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, the Department should continue to closely coordinate with relevant units, businesses, and localities to promptly identify and report any difficulties or obstacles encountered during the implementation process so that they can be addressed in a timely manner.

The Hoa Lu District People's Committee is tasked with continuing to improve environmental sanitation, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, and creating a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment, especially along the Ninh Hai pedestrian street. They should actively coordinate with businesses to encourage residents to expedite land clearance and prepare the stage and grandstands for the opening ceremony.

For the police force, it is essential to ensure absolute safety and security for tourists, especially international groups. They must resolutely prevent crimes such as pickpocketing, theft, and fraud. They should focus on addressing drunk driving violations, while also reviewing traffic signs and directions, and developing traffic management plans to avoid congestion for tourists visiting the area.

Units such as Ninh Binh Newspaper and Ninh Binh Radio and Television Station continue to promote information and propaganda about the province's tourism potential and the events and activities taking place during Tourism Week. They focus on leveraging the strengths of digital platforms like Facebook and TikTok to widely promote the event and introduce the image of the friendly, harmonious, and hospitable people and land of the ancient capital to a wide audience of domestic and international friends.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee for Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 also requested the Health and Electricity sectors to review all conditions regarding food safety for tourists; and to ensure a continuous power supply throughout the Opening Ceremony and other important events.

In addition, several other relevant sectors, units, and localities need to continue to effectively carry out their assigned tasks, demonstrating a sense of responsibility to ensure that Ninh Binh Tourism Week takes place safely, attractively, and leaves a positive impression on tourists and the people.
