Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai visits Hon Khoai Island

(NLDO) – Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai and the working delegation had many meaningful activities during their working trip to Hon Khoai Island.

On May 14, Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai led a working delegation to Hon Khoai Island.

Hon Khoai Island is a place with a particularly important strategic position in terms of national defense and security. The South of the island has an international shipping route, so ships from countries in the region and internationally often pass by to transport goods...

Informing the working delegation, the representative of Hon Khoai Border Guard Station said that the situation of sovereignty and security of the sea border and the political security situation on the island are basically stable; national defense and security are maintained. Units on the island coordinate closely, unite, support each other in performing tasks and successfully completing assigned political tasks.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai said that in the coming time, the Central Government will pay attention to investing and building the Hon Khoai Deepwater Port project, combined with the traffic route connecting Ca Mau Cape to Hon Khoai Port. This will create conditions for the local economy to develop rapidly and trade with countries around the world.
