Quang Tri Border Guards arrested two consecutive cases, seized 1kg and nearly 5,000 pills of drugs.

On November 26, the Lao Bao International Border Guard Station ( Quang Tri Border Guard Command) announced that the unit has just issued a decision to prosecute two cases of illegal possession of drugs; transferring them to the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Tri Province and Huong Hoa District Police for further handling according to their authority.

At 8:15 p.m. on November 24, at An Ha hamlet (Lao Bao town, Huong Hoa district), the border guards caught Nguyen Quang Tri (born in 2002, residing in An Ha hamlet, Lao Bao town) illegally possessing drugs. The seized evidence was 147 pink and blue drug tablets.

After issuing the decision to prosecute, Lao Bao International Border Guard Station transferred the case file to the Investigation Police Agency of Huong Hoa District Police for further handling according to authority.

Previously, at 9:27 p.m. on November 18, at house number 166 (Le The Tiet street, Cao Viet hamlet, Lao Bao town), border guards coordinated with the police to catch Nguyen Duc Phap (born in 1998, residing in An Ha hamlet, Lao Bao town) illegally possessing drugs.

At the time of the arrest, the authorities discovered and seized 4,750 pink and blue cylindrical compressed drug pills, 1kg of crystal meth and many drug use tools.

After serving the indictment, Lao Bao International Border Guard Station transferred the case file to the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Tri Province Police for further handling according to its authority.
