In implementing the plan to organize activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, which was approved by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense has issued the emblem design for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
The logo design is structured within a harmonious and solid whole, expressing pride, self-respect, and righteousness, with a spirit of always being ready to fight and win, protecting the peace , independence, and freedom of the Fatherland.
The most prominent feature is the victorious military flag of the Vietnam People's Army, a traditional and typical image stylized as a dove of peace; the strong hand firmly grasping a gun to protect the Fatherland represents the image of a soldier of the Vietnam People's Army. These are the main elements closely combined with the supporting motif of the number 80 (1944-2024) to clarify the message of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
