The General Staff - Ministry of National Defense announced the results of the Army Party Congress and the 13th Central Conference of the 13th term.

On the afternoon of October 17, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense held a conference to quickly announce the results of the 12th Military Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 13th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense ; and Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Also attending were members of the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense; leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the General Staff (Northern region); and delegates summoned from agencies and units as prescribed.

At the conference, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Doan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense, and Head of the Political Department of the General Staff, announced the results of the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army, term 2025-2030; the speech of General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission; and the letter of the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army. The conference provided information on the core contents and outstanding results of the 13th Conference of the Central Committee of the 13th Party Congress, especially the major orientations in preparation for the 14th Party Congress.

Regarding guidance and unifying key issues in the announcement and dissemination of the results of the congress and conference, the Organizing Committee requests that Party committees and organizations, based on their assigned tasks and circumstances, disseminate information to cadres, Party members, and the masses according to their respective levels, creating unity in understanding, thought, and action, and achieving high consensus on the contents of the congress and conference, thereby further strengthening firm belief in the Party's leadership.
