On August 29th, a delegation from the 3rd Military Region Command, led by Major General Luong Van Kiem, Deputy Commander of the 3rd Military Region, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the results of task implementation at Thanh Lan Island Battalion (242nd Brigade) and the Military Command of Co To District ( Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command).

After conducting on-site inspections at the units, the working group assessed that: The units have strictly maintained the regulations and procedures for combat readiness; effectively implemented the management and use of national defense land, national defense facilities, and military zones in accordance with State laws, Government decrees, circulars, and guidelines of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff; organized training for personnel according to plan, ensuring content, time, and safety; consistently paid attention to building strong mass organizations that operate according to their functions and tasks and effectively; political agencies at all levels have implemented Party and political work activities in their tasks according to guidelines, especially in training and combat readiness; the system of Party and political work records is basically complete, strictly managed, and registered promptly; and strictly maintained the reserves of ammunition and logistical materials for combat readiness. Ensure the full quantity, management, and storage of combat readiness documents for the logistics and technical sectors in accordance with the assigned levels of authority.
Concluding the inspection, Major General Luong Van Kiem acknowledged and commended the results and achievements of the units. The Deputy Commander of the Military Region requested that the units supplement combat readiness documents in accordance with regulations, organize training exercises for combat plans and strategies in accordance with regulations; effectively manage and utilize national defense land and military zones; continue to consolidate the system of records, lesson plans, and teaching aids; do a good job of preparing and organizing exercises; improve combat readiness and capabilities, avoiding passivity and surprise; and firmly protect the sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands.
