Ca Mau: Mini gas cylinder explodes during memorial service, many hospitalized.

On June 22, the Thoi Binh District Health Center in Ca Mau province reported that it is treating several patients with burns resulting from a mini gas cylinder explosion in the area.

According to initial information, on June 18th, Mr. DVT's family (residing in Hamlet 2, Ho Thi Ky Commune, Thoi Binh District) held a memorial service and invited everyone to have a meal with them. After some people sat down to eat, the mini gas cylinder of the gas stove unexpectedly exploded. The incident resulted in burns to 8 people at the table.

Immediately, those involved were taken to Thoi Binh District Health Center for treatment. One patient was discharged after having their wounds cleaned, fortunately suffering only minor burns, while the remaining seven patients are being treated at Thoi Binh District Health Center.

"Currently, the patients' health is stable, but some still have burns and are being treated with antibiotics. They are expected to be discharged in the next few days," a doctor from the Thoi Binh District Health Center informed.
