
On the morning of August 31st, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum held a special exhibition titled "80 Years - From That Autumn," commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd. A large number of people came to visit and take commemorative photos.

At the outdoor exhibition area, people enjoyed wearing traditional Vietnamese ao dai dresses and scarves printed with the national flag, and taking photos next to the wartime military aircraft.

Arriving at the Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum very early, Lieutenant Dao Dinh Dung, working at the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, and his fiancée took wedding photos to preserve special moments in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

In the photo, Lieutenant Dung and his fiancée are pictured next to the tractor that President Ho Chi Minh gifted to the people of Thanh Hoa province.
"To commemorate the 80th anniversary of National Day, we decided to take some more photos at the museum to include in our upcoming wedding photo collection. This is a momentous and proud event for the country, so we wanted to preserve this memorable moment," Lieutenant Dung said.

At the exhibition area displaying artifacts from the subsidy period, many people also came to visit and take souvenir photos.

Mr. Cao Lai Chinh, a resident of Hoang Giang commune, Thanh Hoa province, and his family visited the exhibition area showcasing a collection of stamps, ration coupons, and food ration books from the subsidy period.
"Coming here and seeing the food ration books and coupons with our own eyes, we felt like we were transported back to the days of the subsidy system. Especially on this occasion, our children gained more historical knowledge and a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and contributions of our ancestors," Mr. Chinh shared.

The ration booklets, gasoline coupons, and fabric coupons from the subsidy period are on display at the Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum.

The woman and her three young children happily took photos at the exhibition area showcasing wartime aircraft and weapons.

The exhibition area displaying war artifacts also attracted many people who came to visit and take photos.

Duong Hue Anh Thu, a student from Dong Bac Ga Secondary and High School in Thanh Hoa province, said that she and her friends arrived at the Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum very early today.
"To capture beautiful images at the museum, I chose to wear an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) to suit the atmosphere of the whole country joyfully celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day," Anh Thu shared.

Two young children were brought to the museum by their mother for a visit and to take souvenir photos. Dressed in traditional Vietnamese ao dai, the two children happily carried the national flag as they toured the exhibition area displaying wartime artifacts.

Mr. Trinh Dinh Duong, Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum, said that from August 17th to September 5th, the museum will be holding a special exhibition titled "80 Years - From That Autumn".
Through images and documents arranged in a well-organized, scientific , and logical manner, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Museum aims to convey the historical significance and importance of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
Furthermore, the exhibits at the museum aim to highlight the contributions of the army and people of Thanh Hoa to the victory of the August Revolution of 1945, as well as the flexible and creative application of the lessons of the August Revolution to the two resistance wars against France and the United States, and during the period of national renewal and development.
