| Mr. Khong Van Quang, Acting Head of Na Hang Forest Ranger Station, shared information on the conservation efforts of the snub-nosed monkey species. |
The program brought together 50 journalists from Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, and Hanoi provinces, along with experts, to create a forum for exchange and improve skills in exploiting and disseminating information about biodiversity. This was an opportunity for journalists to gain firsthand experience in conservation at the Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve, home to many rare endemic species such as the snub-nosed monkey and the white-cheeked black langur. According to statistics, there are 120-150 individuals in the Tat Ke area and approximately 50-60 individuals in the Ban Bung area.
Over three days, delegates participated in various activities such as: thematic seminars on the global and Vietnamese biodiversity landscape; field trips and surveys of langur conservation in Na Hang and Lam Binh; training in storytelling skills for environmental journalism; and discussions on data exploitation methods and multi-platform journalism applications.
