According to BGR , Italian content creator Nicholas Ghigo published a video visualizing some of the latest rumors as well as his own expectations for iOS 17, giving users a look at what will be in the upcoming update.
iOS 17 brings many changes to the home screen interface
Ghigo's iOS 17 concept builds on some of the features reported in previous rumors. According to the video, the most important changes in the operating system continue to be focused on the lock screen.
First up is the new lock screen font. In addition to the eight different fonts that Apple currently offers, Ghigo shows a few other options that Apple could add to help users give their iPhones a more unique look.
Next up is the interactive widget, where Apple Music users can see live lyrics when their iPhone is locked. If you click on the song cover, it will expand.
Users can also customize controls, a feature that users have been asking for for a while. With this ability, users can change the built-in flash and camera controls on the lock screen. Ghigo said iOS 17 will let users change them for the Apple TV remote, the phone app, messages, etc.
Early look at iOS 17 interface
There’s also a revamped Control Center, which Ghigo’s renderings provide the best look yet at how Apple might implement. He suggests Apple could allow users to customize the placement of existing buttons, prioritizing certain buttons, like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, etc.
The iOS 17 concept also shows off multiple timers running simultaneously, an improved calculator, the ability to lock apps with Face ID, and new icons. The video is 1 minute and 42 seconds long and is the best video yet that shows how iOS 17 could improve the iPhone experience with simpler, yet more powerful features.
