According to a report by Ton Thien San, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the organizational structure after the merger of the Department of Agriculture and Environment includes 1 Director and 14 Deputy Directors; 6 specialized professional departments; 8 sub-departments; 36 affiliated units and 4 other organizations, a reduction of 46 departments and subordinate units.
Regarding personnel after the merger, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has 5,154 civil servants, public employees, and workers, 2,020 public employees, and 1,958 people working in other public service units and organizations, a reduction of 394 civil servant and public employee positions.
Director of the Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Environment, Ton Thien San, reported on the results of activities in the first six months of 2025 and the tasks for the last six months of 2025.
The results of the tasks performed in the first six months of 2025 show that the main targets achieved include: Total value of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products reached 15,100 billion VND, with a growth rate of 5.17% compared to the same period last year. The province has 919 cooperatives, reaching 99.5% (46% of the plan is operating quite well) , 875 cooperative groups and 1,461 farms; and 528 production and consumption linkage chains (123% of the plan).

Out of a total of 913 OCOP products (115% of the plan), there are 821 3-star OCOP products; 85 4-star OCOP products; and 7 5-star OCOP products. The percentage of rural residents using hygienic water is 97.62%. The forest cover rate is 46.72%.
After the completion of district-level activities, the entire province has 80 new rural communes (reaching 77.7%); 9 advanced new rural communes (reaching 8.7%); and 3 model new rural communes (reaching 2.9%).
