An Giang Provincial Police handed over 2 houses of Gratitude

On the afternoon of August 19, An Giang Provincial Police held a handover ceremony of 2 Gratitude houses to members of the People's Former Police Association with difficult circumstances.

The two houses were given to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Day, former Deputy Captain of Long Xuyen City Police, An Giang Province (old) and Lieutenant Colonel La Van Them, former officer of Long Xuyen City Police .

Each house is supported with 110 million VND, of which 60 million VND comes from the Ministry of Public Security's budget and 50 million VND is supported by the Provincial Police.

This time, the Ministry of Public Security and An Giang Provincial Police supported the construction of 13 houses (each house costs 110 million VND) for 13 members of the Provincial People's Police Association with difficult circumstances, with a total cost of over 1.4 billion VND.

This is one of the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
