Announcing decisions on establishing Party Committees and agencies under the Provincial Party Committee

On the morning of February 7th, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee. Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, attended and chaired the conference.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet presented the decision to establish the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Quang Nam province.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Van Binh, Head of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, announced the decision to terminate the activities of provincial-level Party groups and Party committees effective February 6, 2025.

The decision to terminate the activities of 11 Party Committees was announced, including: the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Council; the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; the Party Committee of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Party Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor; the Party Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association; the Party Committee of the Provincial Women's Union; the Party Committee of the Provincial Farmers Association; the Party Committee of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations; the Party Committee of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Court; and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy.

The decision to terminate the activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc includes: the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; the Provincial Party Committee Office; the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies; the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; and relevant agencies that, according to their functions and duties, will coordinate in the transfer and reception of party organizations and members, and the arrangement and placement of officials, civil servants, and employees. These decisions are effective from February 6, 2025.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Van Binh announced the decisions of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee on the establishment of the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, effective from February 6, 2025.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet presented the decision to establish the Party Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies, consisting of 25 cadres; to appoint the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, consisting of 9 cadres; and to appoint Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, as Secretary of the Party Committee; Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, as Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet stated that the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, based on proposals and recommendations from the Steering Committee, had held meetings and agreed on the projects and plans. The Provincial Party Committee, within its authority, had also given its opinions on the projects and plans according to the working regulations. Regarding personnel plans, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has made a decision, but it will be announced at the appropriate time. Simultaneously, the decision to establish new units or merge/dissolve existing departmental-level units will be announced after the National Assembly convenes and after the Provincial People's Council convenes and gives its opinion within its authority.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet delivered a speech at the conference.

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested that agencies and units focus on preparing well for the Party congresses at all levels; implementing directives from the Central Committee and the province on reforming and reorganizing the organizational structure; regularly monitoring, reviewing, and promptly addressing difficulties during implementation, ensuring that the new apparatus operates effectively, efficiently, and smoothly. Absolutely no disruptions should occur, contributing to the effective implementation of the political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee.
