Speaking at the congress, Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai requested the Party Committee of the Political Department to continue to thoroughly grasp and successfully implement the Resolutions of the 11th Military Region Party Congress, the 12th Military Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party; resolutions and directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on military and defense work and the practical situation and tasks of the Military Region's armed forces; and to effectively perform its role as the agency presiding over, advising, directing, guiding, deploying and implementing all aspects of Party work and political work in the Military Region's armed forces.
