In the area around Nguyen Sinh Sac Street (Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City), many traders displayed hundreds of large, medium, and small-sized chrysanthemum pots for sale.

Mr. Vu, who sells chrysanthemums on Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, said that compared to medium and small-sized chrysanthemums, large-sized chrysanthemums cost twice as much. Each pair of large chrysanthemums costs 2.5 million VND.

"The large, wide-spreading chrysanthemums, often decorated with the characters for 'Longevity' and 'Humanity' in pots, are very popular with companies and organizations," said Mr. Vu.

Next door, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang's stall is in a similar situation. On the 20th day of the 12th lunar month, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang imported 4 pairs of large chrysanthemums at a price of 4.5 million VND per pair, but they have all been sold by now.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang, this year's favorable weather has resulted in beautiful blooms and fewer pests and diseases, leading to higher prices compared to last year. Medium-sized chrysanthemums are priced at 1.2 million VND per pair, while small ones cost 600,000 VND per pair.

Besides chrysanthemums, kumquats are also expensive this year, ranging from 1.2 to 3 million VND per pot. Despite the high price, according to traders, many customers have come to buy and place deposits early to choose beautiful and satisfactory trees.
