Compulsory land recovery from Water Transport Joint Stock Company No. 3 in Tan Duong commune, Thuy Nguyen district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of November 4, the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district organized a forced land recovery from Water Transport Joint Stock Company No. 3, which is using land in Tan Duong commune to implement the Investment Project to build the Technical Infrastructure of the New Urban Area North of Cam River.
The Project on Investment in Construction of Technical Infrastructure of the North Song Cam New Urban Area was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1131/QD-TTg dated June 24, 2016; Hai Phong City People's Committee approved the Project in Decision No. 2008/QD-UBND dated September 15, 2016. Accordingly, Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee issued Notice of Land Reclamation No. 113/TB-UBND dated April 17, 2017 with a total of 15 Organizations having to carry out site clearance work, an area of about 30 hectares.
To ensure the progress of the Project implementation under the direction of the City People's Committee, the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district organizes the compulsory land recovery of Water Transport Joint Stock Company No. 3, address: No. 22, Cu Chinh Lan, Hong Bang district, Hai Phong city or No. 838, Bach Dang street, Thanh Luong ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi city to clear the site for the Project implementation.
Regarding land recovery procedures (stipulated in Article 69 of the 2013 Land Law, now Article 87 of the 2024 Land Law): The People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district has directed specialized agencies, the Land Fund Development Center, and the People's Committee of Tan Duong commune to coordinate with Water Transport Joint Stock Company No. 3 to conduct an inventory; establish and approve compensation and support plans and decide on land recovery; and notify payment to Water Transport Joint Stock Company No. 3 (many times).
Regarding the procedures for compulsory land recovery (stipulated in Article 71 of the 2013 Land Law, now Article 89 of the 2024 Land Law): To ensure the legitimate rights and interests of Water Transport Joint Stock Company No. 3, the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district has directed the Land Fund Development Center, the People's Committee of Tan Duong commune, agencies and organizations of the district and Tan Duong commune to focus on mobilizing and persuading, however, the Company still does not comply with receiving compensation, support and handing over the site to implement the Project./.
