According to a report by the Ministry of Interior , ministries, departments, and localities have reviewed and implemented policies and regulations for officials, civil servants, and members of the armed forces during the process of reorganizing the political system's organizational structure.
According to reports from central and local agencies as of June 30, there were 57,158 people employed, of whom 43,207 had left their jobs (retired or resigned).
25,611 people received the money (representing 62.39%, excluding police and military personnel) with a total amount of 26,947 billion VND.
The Ministry of Interior stated that it will continue to monitor, compile, and provide guidance within its authority on the implementation of the regulations and policies stipulated in Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.
Previously, in implementing the policy of reorganizing and streamlining the organizational structure associated with reducing the workforce, restructuring, and improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees as required by the Central Steering Committee, the Ministry of Interior advised the Government to issue Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and armed forces personnel in the implementation of the reorganization of the political system's organizational structure.
Since then, sufficiently strong and prominent policies and regulations have been in place to address the issues related to officials, civil servants, and employees working under labor contracts in the implementation of organizational restructuring of the political system.
In implementing Notice No. 75-TB/TW of the Politburo on adjusting the scope and subjects of application of policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in the implementation of organizational restructuring of the political system, the Ministry of Interior has advised and submitted to the Government for promulgation Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.
The Ministry of Interior has also issued Circular No. 01/2025/TT-BNV guiding the implementation of policies and regulations for officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus; and Circular No. 002/2025/TT-BNV amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 01/2025/TT-BNV.
Simultaneously, the Ministry of Interior issued Document No. 1814/BNV-TCBC and Document No. 2034/BNV-TCBC to ministries, sectors, and localities providing guidance on the implementation of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP.
