Da Nang: Organizing many water entertainment activities on the coast and Han River

The People's Committee of Da Nang city has issued a plan to organize water recreation and entertainment activities in coastal areas and the Han River area in the city to promote the advantages and potential of the sea and river to develop tourism.

Recreational games on the sea such as jet skiing, parasailing, banana boating, and windsurfing will be deployed on the beaches of Da Nang city.

Accordingly, motorized vehicles include: Jet skis, parasailing canoes, banana boat-pulling canoes, windsurfing canoes, hydroplanes and some other motorized vehicles as prescribed... Non-motorized vehicles include: Windsurfing, kite surfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), kayaking, personal watercraft and some other non-motorized vehicles as prescribed. Vehicles must ensure quality standards, technical safety and environmental protection as prescribed by law.

The area for water recreation activities at sea is deployed along the Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa coastal route with a total length of 15,300m, divided into many areas and arranged with suitable recreation activities. Along the coastal route of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, it will be organized in the coastal area of ​​Nguyen Tat Thanh Street from Ton That Dam to the south of Nam O Bridge with a total length of 5,700m, divided into two areas. In the coastal area along Hai Van Pass, in front of the Lang Van integrated resort and entertainment project with 169 hectares.

Residents and tourists will have entertainment areas at the beaches with many recreational games on the sea such as jet skiing, parasailing canoes, banana boat-pulling canoes, and windsurfing canoes that will be deployed on the beaches of Da Nang city.

The coastal area of ​​Son Tra peninsula in front of Bai But tourist area project with 65 hectares and from Bai But tourist area project location to the boundary of Bien Dong tourist area expansion project, Son Tra high-class tourist - service complex project with 97.5 hectares... The areas and points will be arranged with suitable entertainment activities.

In the river recreation area, the water area starts from Han River Bridge to Tran Thi Ly Bridge with a length of about 2km, arranging recreation activities for non-motorized and motorized vehicles in accordance with regulations.

Organizations and individuals participating in the business of water recreation and entertainment services must ensure safety, security, order and environmental sanitation according to the law. People participating in recreation and entertainment activities must comply with regulations and coordinate with functional forces to carry out rescue work when requested.

Recreational activities for non-motorized and motorized vehicles will be deployed on the Han River in accordance with regulations.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned relevant departments and branches to implement the project. The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2030. Depending on the actual situation during the implementation of the plan, the needs of businesses, people, tourists or other regulations of specialized laws, the People's Committee of the city will consider supplementing and adjusting accordingly.

The plan to organize water recreation activities is considered a practical step in the strategy for developing Da Nang tourism to 2030, with a vision to 2045. By harmoniously combining tourism development and environmental resource protection, Da Nang hopes to open a new face for sea and river tourism, thereby contributing to promoting economic growth and improving the quality of life of the people.
