Handling difficulties in handover and disbursement of national target program implementation

On the afternoon of December 8, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province held a meeting to resolve problems in the handover, receipt of funding sources and disbursement to implement the national target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province.

Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province Danh Phuc and Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province Danh Tha chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were representatives of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, and leaders of 37 communes and wards in ethnic minority areas in the province.

In the 2021 - 2025 period, the total disbursed capital of the national target program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province is more than 528 billion VND, reaching 52.81%; of which, disbursed development investment capital is 355 billion VND, reaching 67.3%; disbursed career capital is over 173 billion VND, reaching 36.6%.

Up to now, 18/21 specific targets and main indicators have been achieved and exceeded the set plan. In the period of 2026 - 2030, the estimated state budget capital to implement the national target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province is over 1,000 billion VND; of which, the central budget is over 902 billion VND, the local budget is over 135 billion VND.

At the meeting, representatives of communes and wards reported on the results of implementation and disbursement of capital sources under the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021-2025 period, difficulties and obstacles in implementing projects and sub-projects...

Concluding the meeting, comrade Danh Phuc acknowledged and commended the achieved results, and at the same time requested that communes and wards review undisbursed capital sources to propose transferring the source to 2026.
