The 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a national event, organized with close coordination between many agencies such as the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hanoi People's Committee; in which the parade is the highlight of the celebration.

This event aims to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence, and at the same time affirm the great historical significance of the August Revolution in 1945, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). The Ministry of National Defense is the agency in charge of the parade and march; coordinates with relevant agencies to ensure the event takes place solemnly and safely. Force A80 includes units of the Vietnam People's Army, People's Public Security, Militia and Self-Defense Force... demonstrating the solidarity and strength of the entire nation.

With the close direction of the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security..., the units actively and urgently organized training, practiced seriously, ensuring compliance with the plan. Overcoming difficulties in weather, accommodation and high training intensity, officers and soldiers strictly followed discipline, diligently practiced and mastered the command movements according to the tasks of each block and each force.

The highlight of this morning's training session was the appearance of a block of military vehicles and special police vehicles, demonstrating the continuous growth of the people's armed forces over the past 80 years, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Today's comprehensive training test aims to continue evaluating results, drawing experience from training work, and creating a basis for units to continue training forces participating in the parade and marching in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to achieve the best results.

After the forces conducted a general rehearsal, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, General Nguyen Tan Cuong acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the sense of responsibility, results and achievements of the units; at the same time, he emphasized that after more than a month of concentrated training, the officers and soldiers always clearly demonstrated great efforts and determination to overcome many difficulties, in harsh weather conditions, taking advantage of time to actively practice with high intensity to aim for the goal of "correct, even, strong, beautiful, unified"; demonstrating the discipline as well as the strength of the people's armed forces.

The 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a major political event, an opportunity for the entire Party, people and army to review the heroic history of the nation. To organize a parade commensurate with the scale and significance of the event, on that basis, General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested agencies and units to continue to direct and organize basic training, focusing on basic training of each individual, each group, each row as the basis for practicing coordinated movements within the bloc, achieving training targets according to the requirements of the tasks of each bloc and each force. Organize comprehensive training of the armed forces, preliminary and final rehearsals closely, ensuring the highest quality.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong suggested that the General Department of Politics continue to direct the promotion of Party and political activities in parades and marches, focusing on propaganda work on mass media; strengthen education to raise the sense of responsibility, determination and ensure good cultural and spiritual life for the forces. The General Department of Logistics and Technology continues to direct the assurance of good military supplies and uniforms, especially ensuring technical work for military vehicles and artillery participating in parades and marches.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong hopes and believes that each force, each bloc, each cadre and soldier will promote the spirit of the August Revolution and the immortal National Day of September 2, raise awareness, take advantage of time, actively practice "solidarity, coordination, collective achievements", and successfully complete the tasks of training, general practice, preliminary rehearsal, and final rehearsal, so that we can have a parade worthy of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
