Accordingly, Ms. Huynh Thi Huong Lan - Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center - sent a document to the Department of Tourism requesting that the department's leaders award a certificate of commendation and vouchers for gifts, accommodation, and tourism experiences to nurse Dang Thi Ha, who works at the A9 Emergency Center, Bach Mai Hospital.
The commendation proposal stated that on March 27, information was posted on social media about a female nurse who performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on an Indian male tourist at Bep Trang restaurant (Son Tra district, Da Nang ), saving the tourist from a critical condition.
The Tourist Support Center contacted Ms. Dang Thi Ha, a nurse working at Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi , and learned that the Indian tourist, after being taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment, was discharged and returned to his country one day later.
Considering this was a noble act of saving a life in critical condition, especially since the rescued tourist was traveling in Da Nang City, the Tourism Promotion Center proposed that the leaders of the Department of Tourism award Ms. Ha a certificate of commendation and a voucher for a vacation and travel experience in Da Nang.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, deputy director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, said that they have received the proposal and will soon announce the official decision.
