Benchmark scores for assessing the capacity of Saigon University and International University in 2024

Saigon University: 2 majors have admission scores above 900.

On the afternoon of July 3rd, the Admissions Council of Saigon University announced the early admission scores (excluding the high school graduation requirement) for the method using the results of the 2024 aptitude test of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

This admission method is only applied to undergraduate programs outside of teacher training. The two programs with the highest cutoff scores (above 900 points) are Applied Mathematics (902 points) and Software Engineering (926 points). The program with the lowest cutoff score is Accounting (high-quality program) at 783 points.

The cutoff scores for each major are shown in the following table:

International University: 3 majors have a cutoff score of 860.

The Admissions Council of the International University (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) announces the admission cutoff scores for undergraduate programs based on the results of the aptitude test organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2024 (Method 5).

Accordingly, three majors require candidates to achieve 860 points to be eligible for admission: computer science , data science, and logistics and supply chain management. Other majors also have high cutoff scores, such as information technology (850 points) and English language (835 points). Business administration and marketing both require 800 points.

Candidates admitted early through the method using the results of the 2024 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test will be officially recognized as admitted if they meet the following conditions: They have graduated from high school or equivalent; their admission score is greater than or equal to the admission cutoff score for their registered major; they have registered their admission preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions portal or the National Public Service Portal between July 18th and 5 PM on July 30th, and their names are included in the list of admitted candidates after the completion of the virtual filtering process according to the Ministry of Education and Training's general plan.
