The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris also has strengths ineducation and training with a system of 14 universities and colleges, providing diverse training in various fields and sectors with good quality, receiving and training about 72,000 students each year.
On behalf of the working delegation, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized the purpose of the working session to seek cooperation opportunities for Ninh Binh province's enterprises with the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris and French enterprises; the need to attract investment in the areas that the province is interested in to promote the implementation of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2050 of Ninh Binh province. At the same time, he introduced and shared general information about the characteristics, natural conditions, socio-economic conditions, potentials and strengths of Ninh Binh province.

The representative of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris expressed his impression of the information provided by the delegation; affirmed that initially, there were many areas of cooperation such as agriculture and tourism; the other side had many businesses with effective solutions for communication to attract tourists and digital transformation. Affirmed that the areas that Ninh Binh province is prioritizing to attract investment projects are all very potential. Suggested that in the immediate future, the two sides should coordinate to organize direct or online forums so that businesses of both sides can share and seek cooperation needs. Suggested that Ninh Binh province should pay attention to studying and effectively applying the principles and regulations of the Vietnam - EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) to promote trade and investment cooperation between the two sides.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, respectfully thanked the support and assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy and Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang personally for giving the Delegation a warm welcome and assisting the Delegation in arranging the working program during the time the Delegation worked with partners in the French Republic.
Informing the Ambassador about the main features of the cooperative relationship between Ninh Binh province and foreign partners, including the French Republic, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said: In the past, the French Development Agency (AFD) has accompanied Ninh Binh province in implementing 2 projects: The project to build Kim Dai estuary to prevent salinity, retain fresh water and respond to the impact of rising sea levels for 6 districts and cities in the Southern Ninh Binh area, Ninh Binh province; The project to improve urban infrastructure to minimize the impact of climate change for 4 coastal provinces of the North Central region - Sub-project to improve urban infrastructure in Phat Diem, Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province, has made an important contribution to serving agricultural production and the task of preventing and fighting natural disasters of the province, minimizing the impacts of climate change on the people. In addition, Ninh Binh province is currently coordinating with AFD to propose a project to improve infrastructure to bring fresh water to the downstream area of Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province to serve socio-economic development in response to climate change.
In the coming time, Ninh Binh hopes to continue receiving the attention, assistance and support of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of France in promoting, introducing and connecting businesses, investors and localities of France to cooperate in investment, implementing programs and projects in Ninh Binh province, focusing on the following areas: preserving and promoting cultural heritage values; developing eco-tourism and high-class resort services; training high-quality human resources; producing agricultural varieties; supporting Ninh Binh province to access projects funded by the French Government, etc.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the French Republic Dinh Toan Thang was pleased to welcome the delegation of the People's Council of Ninh Binh province to visit and work. Appreciating the proactiveness and positivity of Ninh Binh province in promoting trade and investment in Europe, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang believes that with a lot of potential, comparative advantages and the determination of the province in calling for and attracting foreign investment, Ninh Binh will be an attractive locality for investors from European countries, including France.

*During the working trip to the French Republic, on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at Montreuil city park in the suburbs of Paris. The delegation's activities were attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the French Republic Dinh Toan Thang and embassy officials.
Montreuil City Park is where the statue of President Ho Chi Minh is located. The bust of him was donated to the city by the Ho Chi Minh Museum to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of our Party and the Vietnamese people , the national liberation hero, an outstanding cultural figure, and a tireless activist for the liberation of peoples around the world.
On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council respectfully offered flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh.
Next, the delegation visited the Living History Museum and Ho Chi Minh Space. Proud and moved by the artifacts, images and documents about his journey to find a way to save the country in France, which are respectfully preserved by the Government and people of Montreuil city, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council solemnly wrote in the souvenir book at the Museum: "... The visit and work in France has successfully concluded the working program of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council Delegation in some European countries. The activities and events of meetings, dialogues, trade and investment promotion of the Delegation have received high appreciation from representatives of local authorities, leaders of friendship organizations, trade and investment and attracted the attention of the business community of the host countries.
