BIDV Delegation attends the 1st Government Party Congress

On the morning of October 12, at the National Convention Center, the 1st Congress of the Government Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term held a preparatory session. Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister, chaired the meeting.

Before the preparatory session, delegates to the Congress laid wreaths and paid respects at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh , and also laid wreaths and offered incense at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street.

Next, the delegation visited the Exhibition of Economic Achievements and the Exhibition of Scientific and Technological Achievements, Innovation and Digital Transformation, held right in the National Convention Center with dozens of booths.

At the banking sector's exhibition booth, the Prime Minister and the delegation were very pleased with the technological achievements of the industry in general and BIDV in particular, especially the digital transformation initiatives that serve businesses and people, enabling them to access modern financial services more easily, safely, and conveniently.

Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong and delegates listened as Deputy General Director of BIDV Phan Thanh Hai introduced the BIDV Direct super app for businesses.

The BIDV Party Committee delegation attended the First Party Congress of the Government with a spirit of innovation, creativity, and the highest sense of responsibility towards the development of the banking sector and the country.

At the preparatory session, the Party Congress of the Government elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Credentials Committee; approved the working program and working regulations of the Congress; and announced the assignment of discussion groups and guidance for discussions at the Congress and in the groups.

The first Party Congress of the Government, for the term 2025-2030, is the first Congress of the Government Party Committee under the new organizational model, taking place in the context of the entire Party, people, and army striving and determined to successfully achieve the socio-economic development goals for 2025 and the five-year period 2021-2025; and competing to achieve accomplishments to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The motto of the Congress is: "Unity and discipline - Democracy and innovation - Breakthrough development - Close to the people and serving the people".

BIDV Youth Union members participated in reception and ceremonial duties to serve the Congress.
