To commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the afternoon of July 18, a delegation from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, led by Comrade Le Tien Lam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and offered incense and flowers at cemeteries in Tay Ninh province.

The delegation from Thanh Hoa province paid respects to the heroic martyrs at the martyrs' cemeteries in Tay Ninh province.
The delegation included Comrade Le Quang Hung, Member of the Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Women's Union, the Department of Information and Communications, Thanh Hoa Newspaper, the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and People's Council; and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Tay Ninh province.



The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the delegation visited and laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs resting at Tra Vo Martyrs' Cemetery (Go Dau district), Tan Bien Martyrs' Cemetery (Tan Bien district), and Chau Thanh Martyrs' Cemetery (Chau Thanh district).



It is known that 1,458 graves of martyrs from Thanh Hoa province have been identified in cemeteries throughout Tay Ninh province, including 380 graves at Tra Vo Martyrs' Cemetery, 724 graves at Tan Bien Martyrs' Cemetery, and 354 graves at Chau Thanh Martyrs' Cemetery.
The delegation observed a minute of silence, respectfully expressing their boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of the heroic martyrs who selflessly sacrificed their blood and youth for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, bringing glory to the country, and ensuring prosperity for generations to come for the Vietnamese nation.



Before the spirits of the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government, military, and people of all ethnic groups in Thanh Hoa province pledge to continue to unite, maximize the spirit of self-reliance and self-strength, and make the most of the attention and support from the Central Government and external resources to resolutely achieve the set goals and tasks, building Thanh Hoa into a new growth pole in the North of the Fatherland, making a worthy contribution to the cause of building and protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
At the same time, we must continue to pay attention to and do a good job of showing gratitude and caring for the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries and families who have contributed to the revolution, in accordance with the traditional moral principle of "Drinking water, remembering the source" of the Vietnamese people.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Le Tien Lam, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, expressed gratitude to the Party Committee, government, and people of Tay Ninh province for their consistent attention and care for the graves of heroic martyrs in general, and of the sons and daughters of Thanh Hoa province in particular.
On this occasion, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province to the management boards of the cemeteries.
