Monitoring Team No. 01 of the Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs worked in Thong Nong and Ha Quang communes.

On December 10, 2025, Monitoring Team No. 01 of the Cao Bang Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs, led by Comrade Phuong Nam Ky, Provincial Party Committee member, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, and member of the Steering Committee, worked with Thong Nong commune (morning) and Ha Quang commune (afternoon) on the implementation of religious affairs in 2025. Attending the meeting were members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and members of the Steering Committee for Religious Affairs of the communes.

In Thong Nong commune, the delegation listened to a report on the results of implementing state management tasks regarding religion, the religious activities, and the coordination between the Party committee, the government, and functional forces. In 2025, the commune proactively grasped the situation, promptly advised on the implementation of guiding documents; strengthened the dissemination of laws on belief and religion through 30 propaganda sessions, attracting more than 1,500 participants. State management of belief and religion was carried out seriously, in accordance with the Law on Belief and Religion and guiding documents; emerging issues were promptly addressed and resolved, ensuring religious activities comply with regulations.

In Ha Quang commune, the commune's Religious Affairs Steering Committee continues to effectively advise the Party Committee and the government, creating conditions for religious activities to take place normally and in accordance with the law. Policies and regulations related to the material and spiritual lives of the people in general and religious communities in particular are fully implemented. The locality also actively implements national target programs, projects supporting disadvantaged areas, and ensures that famine relief during the Lunar New Year and the lean season reaches the right recipients. The dissemination of policies and laws on religion is integrated into conferences, meetings, and village activities, ensuring that information reaches 100% of the villages; during the year, the commune sent one official and 11 heads/deputy heads of religious groups to participate in professional training courses organized by the province.

Ha Quang commune further clarified some of the issues requested by Monitoring Team No. 01.

The monitoring team acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the two communes in the past period, especially the efforts to maintain religious security and strengthen coordination among forces. The team requested the localities to continue consolidating the grassroots political system; strengthen the monitoring of the situation and promptly resolve emerging issues; promote propaganda and mobilization of religious leaders and followers to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. At the same time, they emphasized the importance of training and professional development for religious affairs officials; effectively promoting mass mobilization work, creating consensus and trust among the people, and contributing to consolidating national unity.
