Lam Dong businesses are "keeping pace" with the new era.

The Lam Dong Young Entrepreneurs Association recently organized the “Business Coffee” program, attracting the participation of more than 150 businesses and business households in the area. The event aimed to disseminate information on new tax policies applicable from 2025 and Resolution 68 of the Government, thereby helping the business community to promptly update regulations, and at the same time, creating a forum for exchange and connection to support businesses.

Lam Dong business community "catches the pace" of new resolutions.

Overcoming obstacles, reducing risks.

One of the key topics presented by representatives from the Lam Dong Provincial Tax Department during the program was the new tax regulations implemented from the beginning of 2025. Specifically, the regulations on Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, and tax incentives for small and micro-enterprises were clarified point by point to help businesses understand their legal rights and obligations. Representatives from the tax authority analyzed the new tax rates, application conditions, and implementation procedures in detail, while also highlighting important changes compared to the previous year to help businesses avoid violations and minimize risks during tax declaration and payment. Furthermore, guidance on the application of electronic invoices and electronic tax declarations was emphasized to improve management efficiency and convenience for businesses.

Resolution 68/NQ-CP, with its core vision of building a rapidly developing, sustainable, high-quality, and globally competitive private sector – not only serving as a driving force for economic growth, but also as a pioneering force in science, technology, and innovation – aims to help Vietnam avoid the middle-income trap and gradually realize its aspiration to become a developed, high-income country by 2045.

A notable point in the resolution is the goal of developing 20 large enterprises by 2030, capable of deeply participating in global value chains and leading the industrialization process. According to the program's content, Resolution 68 is designed to address financial and operational difficulties for businesses in the context of economic recovery and enhance competitiveness during a period of deep integration. The groups of businesses that will benefit include: manufacturing businesses, accommodation services, transportation businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), etc. Understanding these regulations will help businesses plan their business strategies, optimize resource utilization, and boost investment and development.

Partnering and connecting

Mr. Pham Nguyen Ngoc Duy, Chairman of the Lam Dong Young Entrepreneurs Association, emphasized: “In the context of a challenging economic recovery and intense competition both domestically and internationally, providing comprehensive information on tax policies and government support programs is essential for members and local businesses to proactively plan for sustainable production and business. The Association is committed to always accompanying and creating favorable conditions for members to connect, improve management capacity, and develop sustainable businesses in the digital age.”

The "Businessmen's Coffee" program is not only a forum for disseminating legal policies but also an opportunity for businesses and household businesses to network, share management, production, and business experiences, and directly exchange ideas with tax experts and representatives of management agencies. The lively discussions help clarify procedural obstacles, resolve practical difficulties, and propose more practical support solutions from the government.

Organizing meetings in an informal coffee-themed format creates an open space, enhances interaction, contributes to improved information dissemination, and helps the business community gradually improve its capabilities and adapt flexibly to market changes. In addition, the Association also proposes more practical support mechanisms, such as: in-depth training on digital transformation in business management, export market development, and promoting supply chain linkages on digital platforms, to help local businesses increase their competitiveness.

The "Businessmen's Coffee" event organized by the Lam Dong Young Entrepreneurs Association continues to affirm its important role as a bridge between the business community and state management agencies in the province. Through this, businesses not only gain timely access to policies but also contribute to building a fair and transparent business environment, creating favorable conditions for the development of key economic sectors in the province.

In the coming period, the Association plans to maintain and expand its programs of legal consulting and support, combined with training in management skills, market development, and the application of new technologies for member businesses, aiming to contribute to the sustainable economic growth and diversification of business products in the province.

In this era of rapid growth, the private sector is increasingly asserting its pivotal role in the Vietnamese economy. Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo identifies the private sector as one of the key driving forces, opening a new and promising phase of development. It is believed that, with the steady progress in reforms, especially in the digital transformation process that the Vietnamese government is striving to implement, these obstacles will soon be removed. Once these issues are resolved, Vietnam will not only become a more attractive destination for international private enterprises, but will also create a favorable environment for domestic businesses to develop sustainably...
