Dialogue between Party committees, authorities and women's union members

On the morning of October 17, the Women's Union of Cu Lao Gieng commune (An Giang province) organized a dialogue between the Party Committee, the government and women's union members, to express gratitude to benefactors who have accompanied the Union and to give gifts to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged women, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025).

The Women's Union of Cu Lao Gieng commune provides general information on the results of the implementation of the Union's tasks.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Cu Lao Gieng Commune Tran Thi Ngoc Ha and 110 outstanding women members attended. At the conference, delegates were informed about the results of the implementation of the tasks of the Association and the women's movement in recent times, especially after Cu Lao Gieng Commune merged its administrative units.

Members give opinions and recommendations to Party committees and authorities.

The conference recorded 18 questions, opinions and recommendations from women members revolving around the following issues: Health care and knowledge improvement for women, economic development, vocational training and access to loans, policy propaganda and digital skills improvement, social assistance policies, social security and administrative procedures, security and order.

The opinions, recommendations and proposals were acknowledged and satisfactorily responded to by the Party Committee and the government at the dialogue session.

Giving gifts to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged female members.

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20), the Women's Union of Cu Lao Gieng commune expressed gratitude to 14 benefactors who have accompanied the Union in the past time. At the same time, 100 gifts were presented to women members from poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households, with a total value of 25 million VND from socialized sources.
